The Royal Wedding invitations have been sent out and the bride and groom couldn't look more delighted.

Meghan Markle only had eyes for Prince Harry as the pair touched in Northern Ireland on Friday for a surprise visit.

After arriving at Eikon Exhibition Centre for their first stop, the 36-year-old listened intently as her husband-to-be animatedly explained their discussion using hand gestures, while chatting to young man in uniform outside the venue.

After greeting a number of people and recieving a bouquet of flowers, the couple made their way inside to see an unsuspecting group of local school students who were very surprised by their unannounced guests.

The couple watch performances by students from the front row at the event marking the second year of the youth-led peace-building initiative, Amazing the Space.

The performances reflected how the Arts can unite different communities - something the American actress appeared to appreciate, as she introduced herself to members of the crowd seated near her.

The couple clapped enthusiastically but also appeared to share some sweet unguarded moments in between.

At one point Meghan was snapped looking up lovingly at her fiance as the 33-year-old laughed.

For her surprise visit to the Emerald Isle, Meghan appeared to be wearing a forrest green pencil skirt but it was actually a dress by Canadian designer Greta Constantine, with a cream-coloured Victorian Beckham knit and longline Mackage coat layered over the top.

The Hollywood star added bold velvet high heels by Jimmy Choo, which Prince Harry dutifully helped her walk in by holding onto his bride, regularly checking she was OK.

The former Suits star kept her hair back in a chic low side bun with tendrils of hair framing her face and once again carried a handbag in a similar style and shape to the Queen's - by the aptly named UK designer Charlotte Elizabeth.

It's understood the Prince gave the kids quite the pep talk, according to People magazine, who report he told the students: "The previous generations have caused such problems, but with your help it can never happen again.

"You’re trying to educate the older generation which is just amazing. Well done. Clean the slates guys, you got this!"

At an event at Catalyst Inc., a next-gen science park, the pair met with local entrepreneurs - and kickstarted furious rumours about a royal baby that could be soon to come.

Admiring a range of cutting-edge baby products made by husband-and-wife team Shnuggle, Meghan told co-owner Sinead Murphy, "I’m sure at some point we’ll need the whole thing."

"They seemed very engaged with the products," Murphy told reporters, according to People.

"Harry was particularly interested in the bath. I wonder if he has witnessed bath time with his nephew or niece."

Meghan's comments build on rumours from New York Daily News, which wrote this week that her reported efforts to get Harry 'into shape' and get him to quit smoking are all part of their journey to parenthood.

"It’s no secret among friends that they want to start a family immediately," an inside source told the site.

After a full day of events for the young royals, the pair then headed to the pub - The Crown Liquor Saloon is one of the oldest buildings in Belfast.

Inside, Meghan and Harry learned about the history of the old saloon from National Trust employees, spoke to bar staff and learned how to pull the perfect pint of Guinness before enjoying an Irish stew for lunch.

Meanwhile, outside, locals lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the soon-to-be-married pair, who are set to tie the knot on May 19 at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle in front of 600 guests.

The couple obliged waiting royal watchers, greeting crowds gathered along Great Victoria Steet outside the historic building as they left.

Harry and Meghan continued chatting to the locals, even as the rain started to come down, with no-diva behaviour from the actress who happily held their own umbrella.

When the Prince was asked by a member in the crowd if he had already had his stag do, he smiled and replied with "no comment", according to the Daily Express.

While one of the girls in the crowd asked Meghan about her ring and proposal, leaving her gushing: "He's the sweetest guy".

The couple then made their way to a young-entreprenuers hub, a science park called Catalyst Inc, speaking to those benefitting from the non-profit organisation.

And last stop on the day in Belfast included a trip to Titantic - a museum about the infamous cruise liner, which was built in Northern Ireland.
