Fowler said she was "honoured' to be the first footballer to walk in the show, but also admitted it was "outside her comfort zone."

"This will be my first time walking a runway, and while it's a little outside of my comfort zone, the opportunity to walk alongside extraordinary women in a celebration of women's empowerment, inclusion, and sisterhood is truly inspiring," she said.

Mary was the first woman athlete to be named a L'Oréal Paris brand ambassador in Australia and New Zealand in March last year.

She said she had always been into "experimenting" with clothes and make-up but was keen to celebrate diversity.

"I want every young woman watching, especially in Australia, to know that you don't have to fit a mould to be worthy and hope to inspire others to celebrate their individuality and wear their confidence with pride," Fowler said.

The show will be broadcast on social media.
