Jessika claims Tamara and Mick gave affair with Dan their blessing

Their secret affair is set to rock this season of Married at First Sight.

Now Jessika and Dan have claimed they were both given the green light to pursue their new relationship from each other's partners. 

Appearing on Talking Married, the 27-year-old bride told the panel there were "offers on the table from Tamara that if I wanted Dan, have Dan."

She also claimed her ‘husband’ Mick told Dan something similar at a group dinner party.

"At the girls night, Tamara said, 'You like my husband? If you like Dan, go for Dan'. And Mick sat at the dinner table and said to Dan, 'If you like Jess, have her,'" she told a skeptical panel.

The Perth model said her initial reaction to the surprise comment was to hold up her glass and "cheers" Tamara.

"It still does not give us any reason to do what we did," she clarified, before adding she sees the scenario in a different light as the episodes go to air.

"Watching it back, I cringe… seeing the deception being played out".

Sharing regrets about how the affair had secretly developed, Jess admitted both she and Dan were "swept up in this bubble of lies and manipulation" and are now dealing with feelings of guilt and shame.

"I feel horrible about Tamara," she confessed. "I trashed girl code and I was disgusting."

This Sunday's commitment ceremony promises to blow the affair wide open, with talks of Jess and Dan ditching their current partners and restarting the experiment together.

Whatever they end up choosing to do, it's clear the pair have caught some serious feels, and aren't slowing down any time soon.

"I'm definitely in love, yeah I definitely am," Jess gushed during her Talking Married appearance.

"It's been reciprocated from Dan that he is also, and I think we fell really easily for one another. That was why I was able to take that step, I knew that I was hurting people… but I can't take it back because I feel that it was worth it."
