Woman distraught after ‘evil’ husband places wax strip on her eyebrows

All is fair in love and war – or perhaps not.

Hoping to get a one up on his wife, Cristal, in their “prank wars”, YouTuber Niko Cao placed a waxing strip over her eyes and eyebrows while she was sleeping.

Cao claims in the video his wife previously pranked him while he was sleeping by waxing his lefts, so he decided to get “revenge”.

“It’s time to walk around with an eyebrowless wife. She might actually divorce me,” he said to the camera before sneaking over to place the strip on Cristal, who was sleeping on the sofa.

Waking up as the wax strip is placed on her face, Cristal didn’t quite realise what her husband had done at first.

“Cristal, don’t move,” Cao whispered to his wife as she woke up. “You’re eyebrows will be waxed.”

Initially, Cristal was left shocked and speechless. However, as her husband took her over to the mirror to remove the strip Cristal began to sob and said, “Are you stupid? Why would you do that?”

However, Cao eventually admitted the strip had double-sided tape on it and after being removed it only took off Cristal’s eyebrow makeup.

Despite being double-sided tape, Cristal stormed off crying.

Later in the video the attempted funny-man encouraged his viewers to “thumbs up” the video for his “great prank” idea.

“I hope you enjoyed that epic prank,” Cao continued. “Cristal is still recovering, she is kind of distraught.”

While many labelled the prank idea “funny”, there were others who didn’t find the video so amusing.

“This is literally another form of emotional abuse,” one person said.

“Wow this is rough,” another added.

“If I were Cristal I would’ve divorced [him],” another commenter wrote.

Meanwhile, beauty influencer and makeup brand owner Huda Kattan posted a clip of the video to her Instagram page captioning the post, “Omg he’s so evil.”

It’s crazy to think how far some people will go to get likes and views on social media nowadays.
