Man stages fake proposal before exposing 'cheating' girlfriend

A heartbroken man’s restaurant revenge has gone viral.

The unknown father-of-one with an American accent is seen standing beside his girlfriend at a round-table, which is filled with family and friends.

Holding a ring box in hand, he makes his declarations of love loud enough for the tables around them to stop and look, with one person even pulling out their phone to record the event.

Beginning his fake proposal, the man said: "I have absolutely loved you, introduced you to my son and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you."

"However!” he paused, taking a deep breath. “Last night Chris told me about everything, you're a cheat!"

The understandably upset man then drops the ring in front of the woman on the table, says “bye” and walks out, leaving everyone shocked.
