The $4 Kmart buy shoppers are loving for cleaning messy kitchen benches

It's not every day that a $4 Kmart purchase is hailed as a "favourite" product.

In a world where everything claims to be "game-changing," one shopper's recent purchase proves that sometimes the smallest things can bring the biggest changes.

Shopper Trina Lambert, who posts on TikTok under the handle @djdior, has revealed why Kmart's Mini Retractable Mop which costs $4 is "one of my favourite purchases".

Lambert posted a gushing review of the humble product in TikTok video: "Yesterday I bought probably one of my favourite purchases from Kmart.

"This mini mop, it is so good," she told fans before giving an awe-inspiring demonstration of the pint-sized powerhouse in action.

Lambert suggests using the Mini Mop on her benchtop, using it to sweep up debris into her sink, where she shows how easily dirt and grime are removed under a running tap.

The product is also effective for easily reaching under furniture and into narrow spaces.

Lambert's video was captioned: "My new fav purchase from Kmart and was only $4."

Followers were quick to fill the comment section with suggestions on how else the mop could be used.

"I bought one for the crud that builds up on my windscreen 👌," one user wrote.

Another suggested: "I feel it would be handy to wipe [the] shower down?"

"I just bought one also. Love it for the new puppy accidents!!!" one viewer suggested.

Not everyone was as easily convinced, with a viewer writing: "What does this do that a normal rag wont do a better job? I cant 😂."

Lambert replied: "You don't have to touch the dirty rag 😅," a sentiment that was later echoed by another commenter: "Omg I need this! Better than having to touch a sponge or wet paper towel!"

One user shared: "My wife and I absolutely loved kmart, and thank you for sharing this cool gadget, I've saved your video to show my wife, have a wonderful day 🥰🥰."
