Queen shares her very first Instagram post featuring special family heirloom

Queen Elizabeth has marked a major technological milestone by sharing her first ever Instagram post.

Her Majesty's post featured a letter addressed to her great-great grandfather, Prince Albert.

The Queen didn't need much digital knowledge – she merely had to touch an iPad screen before the post went live to the 4.6 million followers of The Royal Family's official Instagram account.

The image was an archive photograph of a letter written in 1843 Prince Albert from Charles Babbage, credited as the world’s first computer pioneer.

Groom’s horror injury two days before wedding

A Canadian bride-to-be is essentially living a scene from The Hangover movie in real-life.

But instead of her husband getting too drunk at his bucks and going missing a day before the wedding, he has come home with severe burns to both of his hands two days before they tie the knot.

Writing in the Facebook group ‘That’s it I’m wedding shaming’ -- a group “where we can all come together to bond over cringe-worthy weddings & wedding related events”— the woman sought some moral support after her fiancé was returned to her with the badly injured hands.
