Clever hack makes it easy to dry the most annoying bedding item inside when it's raining
There are times in life when you just need to dry your washing inside, especially if you don't have a dryer.
But while clothes and towels are easy to put on a clothes airer, bedding can be too big and awkward and laying it over the top leaves no room to dry anything else.
Well, the fountain of information that is TikTok has delivered a brilliant solution to this problem with a hack that means you can dry a fitted sheet and clothes at the same time.

The drying hack appears to have originated from a video posted by a German woman.
In the TikTok she shows how she dries her fitted sheet by hanging it underneath the clothes airer with the short ends on the extendable sides of the rack.
While many couldn't understand what the woman said in the clip, the demonstration of the hack needed no translation because it's clear it's a game changer.
"I don't understand a word and understand everything at the same time," one said.

"I need you to realise that you have just changed how I dry my sheets for life!" a TikTok user commented.
"Not all heroes wear capes," one wrote.
"Danke, I can now stop hanging my sheets on random door throughout the house," another said.
That TikTok from @2.elmo.4.u has had 10.9 million views and has inspired many to try the hack, including here in Australia.
While most Aussies generally dry sheets outside, rainy days, apartment living, dust and wind all mean there are times when we prefer – or need – to dry washing inside.
So for Madison, who lives in an outback mining town, seeing the drying hack has made doing the laundry so much easier.
"To the girl that shared this fitted sheet hack thank you, love you," the text on her TikTok video read.
In the clip you can see Mads has the fitted sheet hung under the clothes airer with clothes hanging on the racks in the middle.

And the idea once again proved mind-blowing for many.
"Omg I've always put mine over the top I'm a be trying this next time and drying my clothes at the same time on the airer," one said.
"Me looking at my drying rack with the fitted sheet on top," a woman said.
"Ohmygod my life has been changed that's so smart," a TikToker commented.
"And I'm washing my sheets tomorrow! you're so perfect for this," one wrote

But if you don't have pets or curious babies and toddlers to worry about this hack is worth a try.
To speed up the drying process of the fitted sheet, or any item drying inside, try giving it at least one extra spin cycle or two if you have the time and the items aren't delicate.
