A Kmart shopper has found the perfect product to add to her front yard Christmas lighting display in a surprising part of the store.

Cheryl shared her find on her TikTok page @ourcountrycoastalhome revealing she used the two-pack solar outdoor stakes, which are found in the camping section of Kmart.

"KMART Solar Spike Lights How cool are these! Hiding in a corner of the camping section too .. these should be in every frontyard this Christmas! Such a cute addition and easy to install. There are 2 in a pack," she captioned a TikTok.

The solar outdoor stakes feature a spray of eight different lights, are water resistant and thanks to the stake can be easily pushed into the ground for easy installation.

Cheryl added these to her DIY display which included Christmas tree and reindeer shapes made out of plywood, painted white and lit-up by fairy lights.

She also included mushroom lights from Bunnings and hinted more will be added to this display in the coming weeks.

The front yard display comes after Cheryl started decorating the inside of her home for the festive season.

She started decorating by hanging up a few of Ikea's Strala star lampshades and making a Christmas village using Kmart products like a garland and ceramic Christmas houses.

And while some may say November is too early to start decorating, Cheryl has a good reason for starting her festive projects now and it's very relatable.

"YES I KNOW! It's too early, but guess what we work full time and usually finish work around the 23rd of December and every year I promise myself to start early to give us time to prepare some cute little hacks and DIYs...

"This year will be the year! make sure to follow us on TikTok and IG for some cool Christmas hacks and ideas coming up soon," she captioned her first Christmas-related post for 2024.
