These are the best luggage brands, according to travellers

With so many great options for luggage out there, it can be hard to know which suitcase suits you. They're often costly, so doing all the research before you purchase is essential.

Our team loves to travel, so we've tried our fair share of suitcase brands. While Samsonite seems to be the favourite, we also have endorsements for American Tourister, Nere and Antler.

These are the best luggage brands, according to travellers.

Antler Medium Suitcase

"When I travelled to Paris towards the end of 2023, it was during the height of the bed bug saga. I saw so many TikTok videos about how you could reduce your chances of getting bed bugs with a hard-cover suitcase, instead of a fabric one, that I panicked and bought this medium suitcase from Antler. It turns out I didn't need to worry as much as I did, but as a result, I now have a great suitcase!

My preference is to travel with a medium-sized suitcase if I can, as I think it encourages better editing skills with packing (that said, I have no idea how people do international travel with only carry-on) and is much easier to lug around. This still feels roomy, and if you use packing cubes, you can fit a lot in. The functional parts are smooth – the wheels, the zippers and the handles.
