The $10.50 Kmart buy that instantly transforms cluttered bathrooms
Space-saving hacks can instantly double your bathroom storage. Kmart
Produced in partnership with Kmart
Bathrooms without sufficient vanity, shaving cabinet or shower shelves can be a nightmare to organise and figure out where to put everything you need.
This can be particularly problematic in small homes and rentals where your options tend to be awkward spaces between the toilet, shower and vanity, and possibly a bath or even a washing machine.
But with a few storage tips it's possible to make the most of your space and keep it organised and clutter free.
1. Divide and conquer
The drawer inserts make drawers neat and tidy. Kmart
If you're lucky enough to have drawers in your bathroom cabinet you'll know how quickly they can become a confusing mess.
The solution is to use drawer dividers to keep categories of items contained in the one space.
A brilliant option for this is clear containers so you can easily see everything and even take out the containers to put on the vanity if you need closer access.
Clear containers can be purchased individually but to save time, Kmart's $10.50 clear drawer insert set includes nine inserts of various sizes.

Shoppers have raved about the difference the product has made to their bathrooms.
"Soooo happy to finally have something that organised my bathroom drawers. Looks so much more neat and tidy now," one said in a review.
"Love these so good for all my bathroom products I brought two sets of them, and everything is nice and organised," another commented.
2. Go up
A lot of space in the bathroom is taken up with features installed on the ground and up to waist height. This means there is a lot of space higher up that can be utilised for storage.
One way to make use of vertical space is with the telescopic shower caddy.
The $29 Kmart product comes in a silver look and has an adjustable height range from 210cm to 310cm, with a width of 25cm and a depth of 21cm.
Featuring a spring loaded pole, the telescopic shower caddy fits between the floor and ceiling, allowing you to make use of dead space in the shower or even beside your bathroom sink.

There is a shelf for every member of the family. Kmart
There are four shelves, which means plenty of space for everything you need in the shower, or one shelf each in a multi-person household.
One Kmart fan referred to the telescopic shower caddy as the "best shower organiser".
"So, so pleased we bought and installed the telescopic shower caddy for our shower. Highly recommend to purchase. So tidy!" they added in a review.
"Needed a non-permanent shelf fixture for my Dad's newly completed disabled access bathroom. This is absolutely perfect and safe for my Dad who is a fall risk. The adjustable shelves are great so my tall son can use the top one, my Dad sitting down can use the bottom one. Fantastic purchase," another said.
3. Fill the gaps
The slim line metal trolley turns dead space into more storage. Kmart
There might not be much in the way of storage built into your bathroom but there are probably some gaps just begging to be filled.
Storage carts are the best way to make use of those spaces as they can be wheeled in and out as needed.
The $20 slim line metal trolley from Kmart is a brilliant option for sliding into gaps, especially those between the vanity and shower or the vanity and wall.
Measuring 79.5cm high by 44cm wide and 21cm deep, it has three shelves that can each hold 2kg worth of toiletries and hand towels.

The trolley can also be used in the kitchen, bedroom and home office. Kmart
For one customer it was the perfect solution.
"We needed a little something to fill the gap between our sink and shower just to make our bathroom look neater. All the cupboards were too big so this was my next idea and I'm so glad I chose it," they said in a review.
"It's adorable and can just roll it out when I need something from one of the bottom shelves. Just makes our bathroom look so much cuter."
