Cult-favourite $7 Aldi item that lasts shoppers years is one of many popular bulk buys returning to store

Thanks to popular demand, one of Aldi's most popular products is making a return to the middle aisle for just $6.99.

The Goliath 300m cling wrap is one of many products on sale for the bulk household special buys starting Wednesday July 16.

Shoppers have been asking for the return of the cling wrap, which lasts them several years according to posts in the Aldi Mums Facebook group.

"Finally finished the 300m cling wrap after 2y3m (two years, three months)! And then the hubby bought the 600m today guess we won't need another box for 4.5yrs," one posted.

"Think the large boxes of cling wrap, foil and baking paper are worth it! We are a family of 6 and as you can see they have lasted a while... Still looks like a fair bit left on each roll...I'd hate to think how many 30 metre rolls at Woolies or Cole's for $5 a pop I would've bought in that time," another said.

The Goliath cling wrap isn't just a hit with shoppers, Choice gave it a solid review with a rating of 78 per cent. The consumer advocate found it didn't pull or tear, sealed effectively and performed well in the microwave heat test.

In addition to the plastic wrap, there is a 80m box of baking paper for $9.99 and a 150m box of aluminum foil for $16.99.

The Wednesday 16 Special Buys sale is also a good time to stock up on cleaning products with some huge bargains on offer.

There is a 3L bottle of Tandil super strength dishwashing liquid for $7.99, which is much almost what you'd pay for a standard bottle from big name dishwashing liquid brands at the other supermarkets.

And with a 3L bottle of dishwashing liquid you won't have to buy as many other cleaning products because it can clean more than dishes, including your shower glass, windows and mirrors.

To help with that cleaning there is a 50 pack of microfibre cloths for $19.99 and a Genie wand with four sponge attachments for $9.99.

The dishwasher has also been thought of with a 70 pack of Fairy platinum dishwashing tablets just $26.99.

For the laundry, there is the Trimat advanced and sensitive laundry powders in 5kg boxes for $24.99 each.

To soak clothes or add a boost to your washing machine, Di-san ultra white sensitive and pro oxy soakers come in 3kg tubs for $9.99 each.

Another money-saving bulk buy is the naturally soft liquid handwash 3L refill for $8.99, which makes it $2.99 a litre and cheaper than the 1L store brand refills at major supermarkets.

This Aldi sale also includes batteries, moisture absorbers, toilet blocks and cleaning erasers.
