Aldi's $6.99 sell-out dinnerware range is back with stunning new pieces

One year after becoming a TikTok sensation, Aldi is bringing back its popular seafood-inspired dinnerware and expanding the range with new products.

The Crofton seafood plates and bowls will be available at the retailer from Saturday November 23 as part of its Special Buys.

There are two and three packs available for $6.99 each. These include a crab and lobster set of two plates, a prawn and fish set of two plates, a two-pack of bowls with shell designs and a three-pack of dipping bowls with fruit illustrations.

To complete the look shoppers can also get servingware featuring lobster fish or oyster designs with platters for $14.99 each.

The seafood dinnerware is expected to sell-out fast after the reaction from shoppers in 2023.

TikTokers, including @prettylush___ and @markp_, raved about the pieces in videos on the platform leading to comments like "so cute" and "you'd better run".

"Thank you queen for posting this!! I rushed right off to Aldi and now have a gorg full set!!!" one told Sheridan of @prettylush___.

"They are GORG, thank you for sharing," a fan told @markp_

"I went to Aldi as soon as I saw your video. I've grabbed heaps for Christmas Day! Thank you x," another said.

Many in the comments reported that they'd searched multiple stores for the product with mixed success, which means if you want the dinnerware you best set your alarm for Saturday November 23 and head straight in store.

One of the reasons customers are so obsessed with the gorgeous collection is because the pieces are considered dupes of pricier dinnerware from design brand In the Roundhouse.

But the plates and bowls aren't the only things worth checking out as the range includes the new seafood print tablecloths, which come in two designs for $19.99 each.

You can also complete the look with seafood-themed tea towels available in three different two packs for $7.99 each.

The Special Buys collection also includes seafood gadgets and cookware so you'll have everything you possibly need to not only pull together a stunning tablescape but you can cook the food and serve it in style too.
