Just when we were running out of reasons to be jealous of Pippa Middleton (what, with a gorgeous new niece, that famous behind and general proximity to Prince Harry), she goes and runs a marathon 5000ft above sea level.

What makes the feat all the more impressive is the fact that the 31-year-old sister to the Duchess of Cambridge completed the 42km Safaricom marathon – which runs through the Lewa Conservancy in Kenya, Africa – just one week after she and younger brother James, 28, cycled 86km in the London to Brighton Bike Ride, raising funds for the British Heart Foundation, for which she serves an ambassador (because of course she does).

This most recent effort, however, was in honour of Tusk Trust, an African conservation fund of which brother-in-law and future-king William is a patron.

"Pippa ran exceptionally well in a very tough marathon, wearing the Tusk cap," a Tusk spokeswomen told People.

"We are absolutely delighted to have her support."

People reported that this year's was a record-breaking event for organisers, with 1400 runners from around 20 different countries signing on to take on the gruelling course in the scorching heat.

We wonder what she's got in store for this weekend… ?
