Groom shocked after unexpected guest appears for 'first look' at the bride

A groom believed he was about to marry the love of his life on his wedding day — only his bride was someone he didn't assume.

During the marriage ceremony, an excited groom stood patiently facing a glass window pane, awaiting the sweet moment he received his 'first look' of his future wife.

However, the hilarious prank moment captured in a TikTok video, showed a very different bride-to-be than he may have been expecting.

In the clip, the best man — dressed in a full-bodied white gown and veil — approached the unassuming groom, barefoot and wielding a bouquet.

Upon arriving within arms length, the fake bride gently rested one hand on his groom's shoulder, prompting his to turn around.

While the groom may have expected a tender moment with his bride to ensue, he instead burst into a fit of laughter, looking into the eyes of his best man — in a veil.

Onlookers in the video began clapping and laughing, enjoying the prank, while the groom shouted "oh my god" in response.

The video was posted to TikTok with the caption "when the groom thinks it's gonna be a first look but it's actually the best man."

Garnering over 1.2 million views, users delighted in the spontaneous joke, and the groom's candid reaction.

"Everybody busting out laughing at the same time was 100% the best part," shared one user.

"This is the best thing I've seen all day," declared another.
