'This is the cutest': Shoppers delighted by $5 Woolies mudcake Christmas ornament
Shoppers are delighted by a quintessentially Aussie Christmas find at Woolworths.
A customer found a mini version of their famous mudcake – although sadly, this one isn't edible.
It is in fact a Christmas tree ornament that can be hung around the house to give an Aussie touch to the festive season.

Woolies shopper Ellora Fletcher found the trinket hidden in the shelves, filming it for TikTok and advising others to "run don't walk" to find the "true Aussie icon".
"Omg stop this is the cutest and SO Australian 😅" said one commenter.
"Hang on imma just go get my keys and run there right now," said another.
"Shut up and take my money!!!" another added.

Many were sad that the ornament wasn't edible.
"I'd actually go crazy for woolies mudcupcakes," one fan admitted.
"Can they just make this cake this size?" said another.
"Thought it was real and I was so excited and about to get up to go to the shops and then I realized it's 1:30am and then I REALIZED ITS AN ORNAMENT," one shared.
The item is valued at $5, but it seems hard to come by.

It is not yet listed online, with some shoppers in the comments noting that it may be available on the app.
Woolworths Golden Grove in South Australia teased their own collection, sharing a TikTok comparing the size of the ornament to a regular mudcake.
Other Woolworths branches, such as one in Karalee in Queensland, asked them to share the ornaments around.
"So you're going to give some to the rest of us right?" wrote Woolworths Karalee. "Absolutely 🥰💚", Golden Grove answered.
Woolworths Blackburn South, located in Victoria said, "GIVE ME 12 RN 💥💳💥". "Righttttt 😍💚", said Golden Grove.

It seems the ornaments are sending people across the country on a wild goose chase.
"Has anyone seen these in South East Queensland? I'm searching vigorously and haven't been successful yet," said one commenter.
"How do I get this? It doesn't come up when I try to search online…?" said another.
"I went to two Woolworths today and they didn't know what I was talking about," one shopper shared.
