Woman's $5500 drive-thru order stuns TikTok

A Taco Bell customer has sparked a shocked reaction on the internet after revealing the total cost for her minimal drive-thru order.

TikToker Kenzie Rae revealed the very costly bill she received after she ordered two items from the fast food giant.

Rae filmed her perplexed response when she order a beefy five-layer burrito which came to $2.49 and a chicken quesadilla which rung up at $5,555.49 — she received the bill which amounted to a whopping total of $5,919.25.

In a video posted to TikTok, Rae films the bill and says, "Hold on, that's the funniest thing I've ever seen. I think that would have to be the world's most expensive Taco Bell order."

As the clip continues Kenzie jokes, "Yeah, I would like to not pay $5,000 for a chicken quesadilla."

The drive-thru worker then takes a long pause — presumably to try and figure out what the heck went wrong — and responds, "Just one second."

According to the Taco Bell website, chicken quesadillas start at $4.19 and don't come anywhere close to $5,555.49 so there was presumably something wrong with the system.

The video garnered plenty of internet attention, racking up over 100,000 likes and nearly 1,000 comments with users chiming in on the hilarious mishap.

One user wrote, "The way I know they turned off their headset and screamed," one person wrote."

Another added, "She was in there staring at her screen absolutely BAFFLED and had no idea how to fix it."

A third joked, "Inflation really be hitting chicken prices."
