'I'm shocked': TikTokker reveals hidden message in ice cream logo

TikTok can be a melting pot of information, from celebrity makeup artists sharing tips and tricks to armchair historians giving you niche SparkNotes on major historical events.

Among the information you can learn from the mammoth platform are a number of party facts – facts that mightn't seismically shift the world as you know it, but might make you seem really observant and cultured to the average joe.

One TikToker has revealed a 'Mandela effect' behind a popular Australian ice cream brand – Connoisseur.

"I have never noticed, this I'm shocked," the TikToker said in the short clip.

She points out that every carton of Connoisseur actually has an animal hidden in the ice cream logo.

"Looks normal, right? When did the bear get there?" she says, pointing out the hidden mammal in the logo.

"If there's a bear, are there other animals?" she hypothesises before showing that other flavours of Connoisseur do indeed have other hidden animals in the logo.

Commenters under the TikTok were quick to share that the original TikToker was not the only person who had never spotted this before.

"Oh gosh, this is like that time I found out that Toblerone has a bear in the mountain on their packets," someone commented, referring to recent discovery that lurking amongst the classic Toblerone logo was a bear hidden in the mountain.

"Since when!?" another said.

This is the first time the internet has lost their minds over a Mandela effect discovered on a food item. 

Back in 2020, a Twitter user posted that they just noticed that Kellogg's 'Fruit Loops' was actually spelt as 'Froot Loops' on the carton.
