Sizzler's coveted cheese toast is finally returning to Australia
For years we've mourned the loss of Australia's favourite buffet and the coveted toast that came with it.
Sizzler announced it was shutting it's doors back in 2020, and when Australia heard the news there was a collective cry heard across the nation, "But what about the cheese toast?"
And while we've soldiered on and gone about our everyday lives the last four years, Sizzler cheese toast nowhere in sight, we finally have some reprieve from our grief.
Sizzler cheese toast is coming back.

From July 24, Aussies will be able to get their hands on the delectable slice of bread once again. But there is a twist.
As we all know, Sizzler is no more. So, you may be asking where you can get cheese toast from?
You'll be able to savour the crunchy golden goodness at The Coffee Club restaurants around Australia. But, it will only be available for two weeks.
The idea started when KIIS 97.3 Breakfast hosts Robin and Kip asked their listeners what nostalgic food they miss most, and Sizzler cheese toast was the resounding winner.
Soon after, The Coffee Club held a one night only pop-up event in Brisbane which reminded Aussies just how much they love the iconic dish.
Now, they've decided to put it on their menu for two weeks only, or until stocks last.
"We've gone to great lengths to bring the original Sizzler Cheese Toast to The Coffee Club," said The Coffee Club CEO, Scott Meneilly. "Everyone knows Sizzler's Cheese Toast, it's been an Aussie favourite for decades and a comeback not to be missed."
