Taste Atlas has released the top 100 food cities in the world: These are your top 10

Some people travel for culture, others travel for Instagram content, but a common reason we all travel is to try new, delicious food.
Sure, we can eat a nice Italian pizza here in Australia, but it's probably going to be tastier if you jump on a plane to Italy.
So, for those looking to travel the world eating the best food around, Taste Atlas has released their list of the top 100 food cities.
The list was compiled from 477,287 food ratings across 17,073 cities.
The top 100 were the cities that has the highest average ratings for both regional and national dishes commonly served there.
Now, if you can't afford the overseas travel, don't stress.
Melbourne came in at number 47 and was the only Australian city on the list, with must try dishes including chicken parmigiana, hot jam donuts and cruffins.

10. Osaka, Japan
Coming in at number 10 on the list is Osaka, Japan.
If you're after some traditional Japanese pancakes, otherwise known as okonomiyaki, this is the place for you.
According to Taste Atlas, you have to try the Shabu-Shabu and Kushiage, and if you're after restaurant recommendations try out Suhsi Ohata or Okonomiyaki Chitose.
9. Torino, Italy
Agnolotti and panacotta galore! Turin comes in at ninth place on the list.
If you find yourself in the Italian city make sure you head to Osteria Antiche Sere and Libery Pizza & Artigianal Beer.
8. Vienna, Austria
Austria makes their first appearance at number eight on the list.
If you're after a traditional restaurant try out Gasthaus Grünauer or Gasthaus Woracziczky.
And in terms of dishes you absolutely must try before you leave, you can't miss out on eating a weiner schnitzel and an apfelstrudel.
7. Paris, France
It's not just the city of love, Paris also has some killer food options.
But make sure you're prepared for a traditional French experience with escargot (snails) and foie gras being two of the must try specialties.
6. Rome, Italy
Forget about the colosseum, you're going to need all your time in Rome to try out the delicious dishes on offer.
We're talking carbonara, cacio e pepe, and tiramisu to finish it all off.
Make sure to head to La Tavernaccia da Bruno and Colline Emiliane for a traditional experience.
5. Mumbai, India
A trip to India simply wouldn't be complete without feasting on the incredible food on offer.
When you're looking at a menu, keep your eye out for these top dishes, bhelpuri, pav bhaji, vada pav, modak and ragda pattice.
4. Florence, Italy
If you've got an upcoming Italy trip, you'll be pleased to know our top four are all probably on your itinerary – if not, you might want to make a few changes.
Coming in at number four is Florence!
You're going to want to head here if you're in search of some real traditional Italian dishes.
Think along the lines of bistecca alla fiorentina, ribollita, pappardelle al cinghiale.
3. Bologna, Italy
Coming in at third is Bologna, if you're a bolognese fan you'll never want to leave.
Head to Trattoria di Via Serra or Cremeria Santo Stefano if you want to try some traditional bolognese dishes including tagliatelle al ragù alla bolognese, cotoletta alla bolognese and lasagne alla bolognese.
2. Milan, Italy
Now, our final two.
When you here the name Milan your mind probably jumps straight to fashion, but the bustling city is also known for its incredible food options.
Risotto alla milanese, ossobuco alla milanese and panettone are all on the list of must try dishes!
