'I was today years old': Woman's trick to 'pop' chocolates out of their box wows millions
It's that time of year where we all seem to magically accrue chocolate boxes as we head into the gifting season.
Now, one woman has inadvertently discovered a chocolate box hack while tucking into some Toffifee – a German caramel chocolate that is popular in the UK.
Rather than crushing the delicate tray that holds the chocolates in place, one TikToker has discovered the panels on the side can be used to 'pop' out the sweet treats.

This is especially easier than trying to dig out the tiny chocolates.
In the short clip posted to the video-sharing platform, @zosafunika shows that by pressing down on the tray, either side of the chocolate, you can simply pop it out rather than dig for it.
The simple hack has already received over six million views, with many viewers immediately impressed.

Pushing into the foil circles around the chocolate, this TikToker gets the sweet treats out with ease. TikTok
"You're telling me I've been struggling to get them out for years and this is how it's supposed to be done," one bewildered commenter wrote.
"The amount of caramel under my fingernails I could've avoided," another person said.
A third commenter simply put it: "I was today years old."

While this hack was originally for a box of chocolates available in Europe, we think it could reasonably translate across to the boxes of chocolates available here, such as Guylian, Cadbury, Lindt and more.

In the clip, the TikToker pops the cap of the salt grinder down which results in finely ground salt as opposed to larger flakes.
"I've never run so fast to my cupboard to test it out 😂 mind blown 🤯," one amazed commenter wrote.
