TikToker reveals how Macca's fries are really made: 'It was manky'
A McDonald's employee has "exposed" Macca's, revealing just how much oil and salt the chain really uses to make their fries.
TikToker @maccaschick's video has already garnered over 6.5 million views, with footage of her scraping up the leftover oil, salt and batter residue in the McDonald's fryers.

In the video, @maccaschick sets out to prove a point, mocking customers with the caption, "I'm trying to stay healthy, I'll just get fries," to which she responds, "You sure about that?".
The user also marks her post with the tag #exposed.
TikTok viewers were completely thrown by the video, with one critic dubbing the fryers a "grease trap".

A former employee shared: "I had that job at close time, it was manky."
"As a person who loves Macca's fries, I do not appreciate this video," a dismayed TikToker posted.
Others found the humour in things.
"The forbidden sauce," a TikToker commented, while another dubbed it "McSoup."
McDonald's Australia has not responded to the TikTok at the time of writing. 9Honey has reached out for comment.
