Poppy then visually walks through the instructions for cacio e pepe, which literally means cheese and pepper in Italian.

The instructions are simple, and it takes less than 20 minutes to make.

All any pasta enthusiast needs to do is grate some parmesan cheese into a pan, add some al dente pasta, and stir it through with a bit of butter and black pepper.

TikTok users were impressed with Poppy's hack.

"As an Italian, I think you did it just perfect," one TikTok user commented.

Another user added advice of their own, saying, "Try make a cream with the pecorino and pasta water first, then add pasta to toasted black pepper and the cream at last.

"Nevertheless, what a dish."
