TikTok users are fuming on behalf of one woman who has revealed a somewhat tasteless complaint made by her husband about the lunches she has been painstakingly making him every day.

Liza Stian, a 23-year-old from San Francisco, California, posts regularly the edible creations she takes an hour to make for her husband every day on the video-sharing platform, where she has six million followers.

In a video that has been viewed over 20 million times, Stian works her magic filling a lunch box for her husband as she explains her shock at the fact he doesn't think her packed lunches are creative enough for him. Watch above.

"My husband told me my lunches aren't as creative as they used to be," Stian captioned the video, which shows her packing a Disney-themed menagerie of what could only be described as a gourmet spread.

"I'm speechless. I no longer know what I can do to surprise him. Any ideas?"

Stian regularly puts a twist on the humble packed lunch, with Disney a common theme as much as Japanese-style Bento boxes.

In a previous video, Stian revealed the lunches she prepares can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour to correctly construct and pack for her husband.

Her fans on the social media platform were shocked at her husband's remark, sharing words of outrage and support in the comments below.

"Tell him to grow up," one user commented under Stian's video, which has over 59,000 comments and 2.2 million likes. "There's kids making their own lunches, he's more than capable."

Other TikTok users simply suggested giving her husband an empty lunchbox, or a $5 note for him to buy his own lunch.

"Surprise him with [a] cup [of] noodles and leave the flavour packet out," one user commented.

Another simply said: "Yeah, he can wake up and make his own."
