'Genius' baking hack will save you kitchen counter space this festive season
During the busy Christmas season, you're likely to have a number of dishes cooking concurrently in preparation for a festive feast. Well, TikTok's resident grandma, Brunch with Babs' baking hack may just save you a tonne of prep space on your kitchen counter.
"When baking Christmas cookies, don't use your counter space, use your ironing board instead!" Babs said in a viral clip.

Babs' hack includes removing the cover of your ironing board, which exposes a metre's worth of a makeshift cooling rack.
Wipe down the exposed ironing board and simply put your Christmas cookies fresh out of the oven onto the ironing board.
"Now you have an instant cooling rack for all your Christmas cookies," Babs explained.
Whilst the baking hack was only a momentary part of a wider Christmas cookie recipe video, Babs' fans were hung up on the impressive hack.

In another instalment of the series, Babs showed her followers an ingenious way to package up your festive leftovers for guests.
Using a disposable cupcake tin, Babs recommended setting up a leftovers station where guests can help themselves to food. The cupcake tin sizes ensure the perfect portion sizes.
After the food is portioned out it just needs to be covered to travel home – better yet, the next day the tin tray can simply be popped into the oven for easy reheating.
