This Tiktok cheeseburger hack has 25 million views

There's nothing surer than the fact Tiktok is a rabbit warren of fascination.

When you hit the right algorithm you'll get useful, hilarious and curious videos. Sure, there's a lot of guff out there too, but when you hit gold... you really hit gold.

And here for your viewing (and drooling pleasure) is the latest installment of Tiktok videos that we all need in our lives: the cheeseburger wrap hack.

I love a good wrap hack as much as the next person, and wraps and tortillas provide hours of foodie viewing, but we haven't seen a method this great since the viral origami wrap hack of 2021.

Swedish Tiktoker @simplefood4you has 1.7 million followers for a reason. She's clocked up millions of views on plenty of her videos, but 25 million views on this video alone in less than a month prove a good wrap hack is still favourite.

In the clip, she smears burger sauce onto the wrap or tortilla, drops a cooked beef patty on top and adds two slices of cheese, tops that with cooked bacon rashers and some fried onion before adding corn chips for extra crunch factor.

She tops the lot with a smaller tortilla wrap, folds the edges in to get a nice circular parcel and then drops it into a hot pan to crisp on the outside and really melt the cheese in the middle.

It's simple genius, and when the parcel is cut open, it has oozy burger cheese all through it. What a brilliant hack idea.

Comments range from "This is better than maccadeez [McDonald's]" to "Ok....I really fancy this right now!" and "Omg this looks soooo good."

Some fans even went a step further, suggesting they'd add pickles or French fries too, while still more pointed out that there are chains in the U.S. and other countries that sell versions of this.

I'm just happy that I can now make something like this here in Australia. Thank you Tiktok, once again.

On an interesting side note, plenty of people said it needed pickles to be perfect or to opt for different cheese... but each to their own, and the basic idea is a solid one. So solid that I'm pretty sure I know what I'm having for dinner tonight. How about you?
