Sydney bar sets sassy regulations for customers
If you’re the kind of person who sports thongs after sunset or big granny undies – you might consider dining elsewhere.
Slims Rooftop is located on the Hyde Park House and it’s a popular spot for late afternoon drinks in Sydney.
While this might appear like your standard roof top bar, think again. Slims comes with some sassy ground rules upon entry that rule out certain items of clothing.
Customers are going to have to come prepared to this venue after the bar introduced a particular dress code that they'd like customers to honour.
The bar posted a picture of the newly established rules to their Instagram.
‘The following are not permitted on the rooftop’
Couples that dress in matching clothes, groups in fancy dress, hens party sashes & decorative tiaras on people that are clearly not royalty, people in big granny undies will all be refused entry to their site.
The bar isn’t afraid to kick you out for your attitude either.
“People with s- -t chat” or ‘w---s’ are also recommended to not walk their doors.
People were amused by the bar’s tongue and cheek sense of humour and agreed that if customer’s weren’t pleased they could always go somewhere else.
“SO. GOOD. And funny. Thanks, hope to visit later this month!” one commented.
“If you don’t like it go to another” one person said.
While others were less the impressed with the specific set of rules they’d imposed on people. It’s clear that they were perhaps taking the list a bit too seriously.
“Just don’t go and when they go broke they will realise exclusion is not a good business decision” one person said.
“This is an issue” another person wrote.
