Tweet claims we've been using straws all wrong: 'My life has been a lie'
Juice boxes, or 'poppers', as they are known in parts of Australia, are a staple in children's lunchboxes and even enjoyed by adults from time to time.
Now it appears no matter how many times you have indulged in the delicious drink, you may have been using the straw all wrong.
A post on Twitter has left popper fans stunned by suggesting the straw is not meant to be used with the 'bendy part' at the top.

This ensures all the juice can be consumed with no need for dramatic slurping or the angling of the box itself.
The Twitter user has captioned the video: "My life has been a lie," and included a crying and a heartbreak emoji.

The graphic, which has been shared by Twitter user HLUBI @romanbuso21, has understandably gone viral.
It has been retweeted 83,000 times, been 'liked' more than 422,000 times and received over 22,000 quotes and comments.
"They LIED! THEY LIED TO US ALL!!!" agreed one of the man's Twitter followers.
"I refuse to do that even if I'm wrong," one defiant social media user declared.
Another comments: "I feel bad for using it wrong my entire life. Why God why!"
The tweet has shaken popper drinkers to their cores. Coles Online
One writes: "There's no instruction telling me this so I ain't hearing it. Argue with yourself."
Adding to the argument the bendy part is meant to be at the top is this tweet, showing that the sharp part of the straw, meant to pierce the opening, is at the bottom of the straight part of the straw.
"Actually, this sharp point of the straw was made to pierce the foil of the box," they write.
And the robust debate continues.
"Nope. It's weird how tweets like this go viral. One end of the straw is pointy for a reason, one person writes.
"The pointy part is on the bottom for a reason," explains another.
