The Starbucks worker later adds that the customer in question wasn't satisfied with his first latte and asked for it to be remade, which is when they made the comment.

He also tells his TikTok followers it's okay to laugh because it is a perfect "coping mechanism".

"First of all Starbucks chai isn't even real chai and he probably wanted a desi version he saw but can't explain," suggests one TikTok follower.

"Literally the same happened to me with a lady at drive thru saying, 'I want my iced coffee the color of your skin," another shares.

Another comments: "They think it's okay to be racist."

"This literally happened to me but with coffee," adds another.
