Mexican food brand Old El Paso reveals we've been using their taco seasoning wrong
Here's one way to spice up your tacos – just add water!
Old El Paso themselves have revealed that a vast majority of their consumers have been using their product wrong, not reading the instructions to add one very simple yet crucial ingredient.
They posted a short video to their TikTok account, simply adding water to make the mince more tender.

"When we realised y'all don't read the instructions to add water with your taco seasoning," they captioned the clip, along with a meme of Pedro Pascal.
Commenters were stunned by the realisation of the omission.
"Wait wait wait…… people DONT use water??" asked one incredulous commenter.
"My husband was mind blown when I added water. He's like, no wonder my tacos are always so dry," another shared.

Some stood by their water-less taco meat.
"I've never had a problem with it being dry and I don't use water," one commenter vouched.
"I don't add water because I don't drain the grease. Not because I didn't read the instructions, which it says to do both," said another.
Others shared suggestions other than water to elevate the dish even more.

"Fill the packet with water and dump it in to get all the flavouringgggg," said one.
"Fun fact, the packet for the seasoning holds the exact amount of water required no need for a measuring cup," another added.
"Instead of water we use salsa," one commenter shared, to which the brand replied, "We might need to try this!"
