Arnott's announces new luxury Tim Tam flavours for 2022
It's no secret that Aussies love a good Tim Tam.
From Tim Tam slams to Tim Tam cocktails and regular launches of limited or new flavours, they should just about be our national biscuit.
To bring us the sweet, sweet joy we deserve after a rubbish couple of years with the pandemic, Arnott's Biscuits is introducing some new Tim Tam flavours to sweeten up our biscuit options in 2022.

To get the party started early, the biscuit-makers have announced one of the new flavours today so we can sit here and salivate in anticipation. Are you ready?

The Decadent Triple Choc variety will be added to a new ultra-indulgent range from early next year. There will be six new flavours in total in the new range, including the Decadent Triple Choc. If the double coated Tim Tams are anything to go by, this promises to be a luxe bikkie indeed.
The new range is called Tim Tam Deluxe and is touted as "the most indulgent Tim Tam range. Ever" in the press release.
Decadent Triple Choc will feature a milk chocolate coating, with extra chocolate covering the two crunchy biscuits inside. The sandwich of choc-cream that we love will be right in there, along with an extra gooey centre. Oh! We die!

"It's been a difficult year, so we wanted to give Tim Tam lovers something to look forward to in 2022," said Rebecca Chan, Tim Tam Brand Manager.
"[So, we're] giving them a sneak peek at one of our new flavours from the most indulgent Tim Tam range ever. The new range is definitely one to be excited about – we've found new ways to add even more indulgence to Australia's favourite chocolate biscuit, with the Decadent Triple Choc flavour being one of our favourites."
The rest of the range won't be announced until early in 2022, but we're happy enough to drool over this news for now.
With more than 670 million Tim Tam biscuits made every year in Australia, we hardly think we're alone in getting excited about this news.

In true Australian fashion, Arnott's has also shared the official instructions on how to 'Tim Tam slam'.
How to Tim Tam Slam:
One of Australia's favourite ways to enjoy a Tim Tam is via a Tim Tam Slam, a ritual invented by an Arnott's employee in 1983.
1. Make yourself a warm beverage.
2. Take a small bite out of the bottom and top corner of your Tim Tam biscuit.
3. Slightly immerse the bottom of your Tim Tam biscuit in your beverage and take a sip.
4. Allow the liquid from your beverage to make it through your Tim Tam biscuit like a straw, before slamming and enjoying its melted and chocolatey goodness in your mouth.
