McDonald's resurrects fan-favourite Angus Beef Burger

McDonald's' wildly popular Angus Beef Burger is finally getting its well-deserved encore, hitting Aussie restaurant menus.

But Macca's fans had better get in quick, as it will only be sticking around for a limited time this summer.

The cult menu burger — famously stacked with Aussie Angus beef, Jack cheese, bacon, beetroot and deep-fried onion rings — is getting another turn in the spotlight thanks to the fast-food giant's Biggest Summer Ever campaign.

The Angus will be available at Macca's stores nationwide and via McDelivery for a limited time from tomorrow, January 12.

The burger is the latest fan-favourite menu item to make a comeback as part of the seasonal campaign.

It follows on from the triumphant return of the Chicken Big Mac last month, after a five-year hiatus.

McDonald's has been rolling out a number of exciting announcements, new menu items and specials since the beginning of summer, from $1 Big Macs to an upgraded Bacon Big Mac.

Additionally, the fast-food chain just concluded an epic MyMacca's app promotion during the month of December, with $23 million in prizes given away to customers who spent $10 or more.

News of the resurrected burger comes after after an announcement by McDonald's Australia last month revealing the top five menu items for 2021.

Unsurprisingly, the Cheeseburger topped the list, with Macca's hash browns taking second place, followed by the iconic Big Mac.

Chicken McNuggets and the McCafe cappuccino rounded out the top five.
