Macca's overhauls summer menu with divisive new items
McDonald's is shaking up the season with an exciting summer menu that includes collaborations with some of Australia's most iconic companies.
From Wednesday, January 8, Macca's will offer six new products that are perfect for warmer weather.
'MITE-Y' Fries, which are Vegemite McShaker Fries, are the epitome of Down Under, allowing customers to coat their chips with the taste of Australia.

In a twist, the much-loved McOz is returning to the menu, but this time McDonald's is launching a brand-new Chicken McOz. Both burgers include juicy beetroot, in true Aussie fashion.
The Aussie flagship burger features beef or chicken topped with beetroot, fresh lettuce, tomato, onions, cheese, mustard, and ketchup and served in a toasted sesame seed bun.

For those looking for a fulfilling post-beach meal, Maccas is offered the Squad Down Under Bundle, including two core burgers (choice between Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, McChicken, Filet-o-Fish, Double Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, Chicken 'n' Cheese, Hamburger).
It also includes four medium Vegemite McShaker Fries, four Medium Drinks and a limited-edition Squad Bucket Hat, served in an adult-sized box featuring the OG McDonaldland characters Birdie, Hamburglar, Grimace and Officer Big Mac.

But that's not all, the fast food giant has also launched a Cadbury Crunchie takeover, with two sweet treats landing on the menu.
The beloved Cadbury Crunchie McFlurry is making a grand return, available in Vanilla or Chocolate Soft Serve.
There is also a Caramel Thickshake and a Cadbury Crunchie Frappe made with honeycomb Cadbury Crunchie pieces, topped with a swirl of whipped cream and an extra sprinkle of Crunchie.

The new summer menu launches on Wednesday, January 8, with the Caramel Thickshake landing on Wednesday, January 22.
