Georgia Weir

A Hungry Jack's customer is fuming after she received her meal with a side of unwarranted attitude.

Fran Lawrence took to Twitter after Hungry Jack's staff at a store in Claremont, WA left a hostile note in her friend's takeaway bag.

One of the pointed messages was scribbled on a greasy-looking receipt, it read: "This massive order was really inconvenient. Go somewhere else next time. Love you so much xoxo."

The notes were allegedly written by Hungry Jack's staff after a large order was put through. Twitter

The second note read: "Why such a big order?"

"Packed with love of course — HJ's (at) Claremont)."

Baffled by the rude note, Lawrence took to Twitter to blast the fast food chain:

"Well this is not a good look @HungryJacksAU – appears your staff in Claremont don't like getting big takeaway orders."

"We're so sorry that you received this" who called on her to contact their customer service team so they "can look into this ASAP".

Commenters under the tweet were divided over the notes, some shared similar experiences whilst others chalked the note up to simple teenage shenanigans.

"It's refreshing to see kids have a real laugh instead of being glued to the keyboard," one Twitter user said.

"Endearing and adorable, reminds me of the mischievous fun we used to get up to before phones and the internet took over. Have a laugh, people. Come on!"

"I get the similar dirty looks when ordering two Bacon Deluxe $7 meal deals from the app," another user said conversely.

"The way those notes are written in a passive aggressive manner I would be concerned about eating anything. 'Packed with love of course' code for 'threw it on the floor before bagging up"?" a third added.
