Wannabe cooks brutalised in 140 characters or less.

It seems you don't even have to appear on one of his TV shows to incur the cooking wrath of the acid-tongued TV chef.

Gordon Ramsay has forged a reputation as the deliverer of brutal kitchen home truths, which he serves up in spades on his popular TV series' Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen.

But in recent days, the TV chef felt compelled to take his foul-mouthed reviews beyond the telly screen and onto his Twitter feed, viciously critiquing the cooking attempts of random Twitter users who dared to put their sub-par creations in the firing line.

There are just too many amazing venom-spiked quotes to mention. To reference one unfortunate home cook's brush with Ramsay: @cheesemeupdaddy's attempt at chicken stuffed with mozzarella wrapped in parma ham with a side of homemade mash clearly reminded the chef of something other than food.

For those who think it isn't Ramsay himself behind the keyboard, think again. One amused Twitter user called out the chef's account, saying that the well-known chef couldn't possibly be personally "taking the piss" out of everyone's account, and Ramsay didn't waste any time responding.

Some users were clearly up for a ribbing, like this wannabe cook and their interesting attempt at empanadas.
