Mum's genius hack for cooking an entire breakfast cook-up in a Kmart pie maker

It's the pie maker that spawned a Facebook group and now, over the past few years, people have been sharing their recipes, tips and tricks across the board.

This Aussie mum however, took to the Kmart Hacks & Decor group to share her easy and genius hack for using the Pie Maker.

Whilst this kitchen appliance has been around for years, lately hundreds of recipes have surfaced and not pie ones either to create in a pie maker. Because at this point, who says you're only allowed to make pies in a pie maker?

Australian woman Ann posted her simple brekkie hack using the pie maker.

In a Facebook post, Ann showed you can cook anything in the pie maker including eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes.

Her breakfast hack resulted in two eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast and bacon (toast and bacon cooked externally).

One user wrote on her post, "agree – I always cook my eggs in the pie maker."

Coming at no surprise, the post received many comments from impressed users.

One user wrote, "Loving how many different recipes you can make in it!! I just got the six pie one and made quiches on the weekend, so tasty!"

This genius hack can make up recipes enough to feed the whole family.

The pie maker itself comes in two sizes, four slots or six to which the foods you can cook in it are endless.

One user on the Facebook post said she made frittata in the pie maker it's that simple.

The pie maker with four slots retails for $29 when it's available, otherwise the appliance with six slots sells for $39.

The recipes you can make the pie maker are endless. For example, a simple frittata can be the perfect after-school snack for the kids.
