All of the food the Australian Olympic team is taking to Paris
The highly-anticipated Olympic Games Paris 2024 is quickly approaching, with Aussie representatives preparing for the Games.
The Australian Olympic Committee has revealed a detailed breakdown of all the logistics that go into feeding the team.
With rigorous physical training schedules, our competitors have worked hard to ensure they are ready for their Games, and lots of food will be needed to fuel their Olympic-sized appetites.

This year, the Olympic Games will be in Paris, France, between July 26 and August 11.
More than three tonnes of tuna, 10,000 muesli bars, 2,400 pies and 20,000 shots of coffee will feed and fuel our Olympians, but that's not all.

Australia's Chef de Mission, Anna Meares, shared that the Olympic Village will turn into the world's biggest restaurant throughout the Games.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that over 15,000 athletes from over 200 territories and nations will eat more than 40,000 meals daily.

To ensure the competitors are well-fed, 200 chefs have been hired to prepare the staggering amount of food required.
Australian athletes are expected to consume an eye-watering 10,000 muesli bars, 340 kilograms of rice and 3,200 kilograms of tuna.

An additional 1,400 kilograms of cereals, 2,400 Four'N Twenty pies, 9,700 slushies, and much more accompany our competitors.
30 kilograms of salsa will also be required for the Olympians to enjoy their weekly taco Tuesdays.

Meares said: "Our logistics team has been very, very busy.
"We've booked over 3,000 flights and booked over 21,000 nights of accommodation.
"All the equipment being shipped includes horses, boars, pole vaults, rifles, let alone the food and the uniform," she concluded.
