Over the past year, giant pickles have been trending on TikTok left, right and centre, and the 'Chamoy Pickle Kit' is the latest craze.
There's already a Chamoy-flavoured giant pickle – for those who don't know, Chamoy is a variety of sauces with a sweet, spicy and tangy flavour.
However, what's taking the internet by a storm now is a challenge that entails TikTok users wrapping their giant pickles in fruit roll-ups, filling them with Takis (a rolled, flavoured tortilla chip) or sour straws, and topping them off with Chamoy sauce – and people don't really know how to feel about it.
TikToker EmiiyJade posted her video showing how she made her pickle, using Cheetos instead of Takis for the crunch factor.

It might sound absolutely disgusting, but the hashtag #chamoypicklekit currently has 152.8 million views on the app.
In 2022, one company noticed the trend of Chamoy-flavoured pickles on TikTok, and decided to recreate the product.
Along came the 'Chamoy Pickle Kit', which included pre-packaged pickles (mostly Chamoy flavoured), fruit roll-ups, sour straws and some Chamoy sauce. Some also included Takis.
People are genuinely torn on whether it's a flavour combination they'd try or not. Other TikTok users like thesalguerofamthesalguerofam seemed to love it.
