A new study reveals which city is Australia's pizza capital
Australia's pizza capital has been revealed!
While we may not have competition for the likes of Italy, some Australian restaurants know how to do a pretty good pizza.
Outdoor pizza oven brand, Gozney, has put in the work to see how each city's pizza restaurants measure up against one another.

And while the top spot may not be a huge shock, we bet there's a few cities in the top 10 that you weren't expecting.
The nation's pizza capital wasn't a judgment made lightly, Gozney conducted a robust research program to come up with Australia's top 10 cities for pizza.
Each location was judged on the average number of pizza-related Google searches per annum, the number of pizza joints rated four-stars and above, as well as the volume of pizzerias.

The number one spot went to Sydney, with the largest number of pizza joints per capita, and more than two out of five being awarded a four star or higher rating on TripAdvisor.
"Pizza clearly gets Sydney's taste buds tingling and it's easy to see why with a broad spectrum of flavours and types, from Neapolitana to deep dish," said Gozney Australia's General manager, Christian Pohio.
"Sydney has become a hub for pizza specialists and pioneers over the last few years, in particular in the street pizza scene sparking innovative fresh takes on classic pizza styles and pop-up restaurants capturing the nation's hearts and stomachs."
Second on the list is probably another you saw coming, with Melbourne taking out the number two spot, accounting for one third of pizza-related searches nation-wide.
Third spot went to Brisbane, with a second Queensland city taking out fourth place as Gold Coast swooped into the ranks.

Some were surprised to see Adelaide come into the top five. Supplied
Surprising to some, Adelaide just made it into the top five.
"Adelaide is renowned for its high-class wine, but the volume in which Adelaidians are hitting the web and searching for a slice proves that pizza and wine really are the perfect pairing," said Pohio.
In sixth and seventh place came Perth and Canberra, but it was the next three cities that seem to have taken people by surprise.
In 8th place Geelong came onto the list, before smaller towns Wollongong and Newcastle came in at 9th and 10th.
