Baskin-Robbins has taken eating dessert for dinner to a whole new level with their new menu items
Is that real or is it cake? Or maybe it's... ice cream?
Over the past few years we've all been subjected to those videos of what appears to be a real-life object – maybe a telephone or a book – only for a knife to cut through it and reveal it's actually a masterpiece cake creation.
But now, popular ice cream shop Baskin-Robbins has put its own spin on the trend with the brand new Dinner Your Dessert range.

If you've ever wanted to eat dessert for dinner without feeling too guilty about it, this is what you've been waiting for.
Not only is the range visually delightful, it also looks delicious with two different burger options, a taco, pizza, nachos and thickshake on offer.
But the catch is, it's almost all made from ice cream.
Putting an ice cold twist on some dinner favourites, Baskin Robbins has created the ultimate meal range for anyone wanting to sneak some dessert without their kids noticing.
The scoop burger includes an ice cream patty and special fudge sauce on a buttery brioche bun, and you can even kick it up a notch with the Loaded Scoop Burger which adds in an extra ice cream patty and a generous serving of whipped cream.

The Choccy Top Tacos include a soft choc taco filled with ice cream and crispy-crunchy toppings, all drizzled with hot fudge.
If you're more of a nachos kind of person you can dig into a stack of choc waffle-cone chips loaded with creamy ice cream, topped with a range of tasty toppings and a generous drizzle of hot fudge sauce to top it all off.
For those looking to really indulge, there's the Polar pizza, a double fudge brownie base layered with ice cream blended with fresh milk or your choice of soft drink.
And finally to wash it all down there's Thickshakes and Fizzy Floats available, two scoops of ice cream blended with milk, or one scoop blended with whatever soft drink your heart desires.

"We had a lot of fun developing this range, which is all about giving customers a new and exciting taste experience, and embracing life lived less ordinary," said Baskin- Robbins General Manager Julian Casa.
"We wanted to create something that would grab the attention of a Gen Z and Millennial audience in particular, so tapping into a viral trend felt like the perfect way to do just that."
