Arnott's announces huge change to classic Jatz and Shapes biscuits
Arnott's has announced new products for the millions of Aussies who are gluten-free.
The new biscuit range includes Gluten Free Jatz and Gluten Free Barbecue Shapes, a new twist on the old classic Aussie treats.

The products are set to launch nationwide from early April, crafted with a gluten-free baking blend that still maintains the taste, texture and quality that Arnott's is known for.

One in 70 Aussies have coeliac disease, which requires they avoid gluten, and Arnott's has ensured its newest product is safe for them.
Endorsed by Coeliac Australia and New Zealand, these new crackers join the Gluten Free Tim Tam and Arnott's wider Gluten Free range which includes: Scotch Finger, Mint Slice, TeeVee Snacks, Choc Ripple, Shortbread Cream and Tiny Teddy.

Arnott's Group nutritionist, Alison Baldwin says, "Nearly 25 per cent of Australians restrict gluten or wheat, and many of those people have traditionally felt disappointed by the available offering, with as many as two-thirds believing that the existing Gluten Free snacks don't taste nearly as good as regular snacks, according to a study undertaken in house."

"Our teams have worked hard to create biscuits that taste great and that meet the strict requirements of the Coeliac Australia endorsement program, meaning all products will feature the Coeliac Australia Endorsement logo."
The new options will be available in Coles, Woolworths and independent retailers from early April, costing $5.50 each.
