George and Amal Clooney bring Venice Film Festival to a halt as lawyer emerges in show-stopping fuchsia gown
They're one of Hollywood's most talked-about couples.
So of course no one could take their eyes off George and Amal Clooney as they rocked up to the Venice Film Festival on Thursday ahead of the premiere of his film, Jay Kelly.
Amal, 47, lit up the red carpet in a corset-style fuchsia minidress fitted with a billowing train that took over the entire carpet.

Her husband, 64, appeared mesmerised as he planted a kiss on his wife's hand and posed for photos, looking dapper as ever in a suit and bow tie.
Amal teamed her look with a pair of strappy heels and a simple gold clutch bag.
Her brunette locks gently tousled down her back in a soft wave.

Before the event, George had cancelled a number of appearances due to illness including a press conference earlier in the day.

"As you may know, George Clooney is not gonna be here because he has a bad sinus infection," Noah Baumbach, director of Jay Kelly, said at the event.
"We think he should be on the red carpet tonight, but he is very sorry he cannot be with us," the moderator added, to which Baumbach joked: "Even movie stars get sick."
George and Amal share eight year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, whose lives they keep relatively private.

Earlier this week, the couple were pictured arriving to Venice Film Festival in a boat, looking effortless chic as they enjoyed the views of Italy during the ride.

The couple are just two of the A-listers attending the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.
