The look was paired with black leather gloves that extended to her shoulder and a pair of big black sunglasses.

Silver star earrings finished off the look. We're certain that her character in the film, the stylish Miranda Priestly, would approve.

Anne Hathaway also opted for red, wearing a timeless Valentino couture gown with a corset top and flared skirt.

A pair of red platforms tied the look together, with silver jewellery finishing it off.

There have been many tributes to the original film throughout the press tour, made up of the nostalgic tidbits that have made the movie so beloved over the years.

Here are some of the other incredible outfits from The Devil Wears Prada 2 press tour!

For the pair's appearance at the Frida Kahlo museum in Mexico City on March 30, Hathaway, 43, donned a Schiaparelli masterpiece.

For the first tour stop, at Frida Kahlo's home, Hathaway turned heads in Schiaparelli.  Getty

She paired the black tailored top with an abstract gold belt with an eye motif and an angled fringe skirt, finishing the look off with black keyhole pumps.

"We are kicking off The Devil Wears Prada tour here today at Frida Kahlo's house… so to honour that, we chose a very surrealist Schiaparelli vibe," Hathaway's press-tour stylist Erin Walsh shared on her Instagram.

Streep dressed in head-to-toe red (perhaps an allusion to the "Devil" in the title?), wearing a Dolce and Gabbana pantsuit and red heels to match, which resembled those that were in the film's poster.

That night they attended the first premiere of the press tour at the Anahuacalli Museum, swapping their looks for the occasion.

This time, Streep wore a tailored button-down dress from Schiaparelli with gold finishings, looking as put together as ever as she takes on the iconic role of Runway magazine's editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly once again.

Hathaway donned a flirty red sequinned mini-dress by Stella McCartney, and you can't forget about "the boots".

The actress wore some slouchy brown thigh-high boots resembling the "Chanel boots" that were memorably fussed over in the original film.

("Are you wearing..." "The Chanel boots? Yeah, I am.")

The co-stars posed in front of the giant red shoe with an inverted horned trident on the heel, as per the original movie poster.

Streep then made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on April 1 in what seemed like a casual look.

The star wore black pants and a blue jumper – but, as Miranda Priestly famously put it, "That sweater is not just blue, it's not turquoise, it's not lapis – it's actually cerulean."

The Mamma Mia actress paid homage to her character's iconic monologue from the 2006 film by wearing a custom J.Crew knit, replicating the original "lumpy blue sweater" Hathaway's character Andy Sachs wore.

The new iteration was designed by Olympia Gayot and styled by Micaela Erlanger.

Gayot said in a press release, as per Vogue, "That monologue is so smart and funny – it reminds you that what feels personal is actually part of a much bigger story, which is why The Devil Wears Prada still resonates.

"At J.Crew, we've been obsessed with color since 1983, so stepping into cerulean – the cerulean – with Micaela was equal parts honour and wink.

"Cashmere felt right: elevated, a little self-aware."

For their next stop in Tokyo on April 6, the stars experimented with wacky silhouettes and patterns.

Hathaway continued the colour scheme in a spring 2026 Valentino Haute Couture strapless gown with a parachute-shaped skirt that billowed black and white ruffles.

She accesorised with ivory Valentino Rockstud heels, which feature heavily in the sequel's trailer, as well as Bvlgari Serpenti earrings.

She made yet another nod to the original film, bringing back her character Andy's signature bangs.

The stars then headed to Seoul, South Korea for a press conference on April 8, where they continued the black, white and red theme.

The Only Murders in the Building actress took the title of the film literally, wearing a red Prada suit with a double-breasted blazer, a thin brown belt to break up the look, and gold heels.

The Princess Diaries star kept her bangs and piled up the rest of her hair in an updo, which showed off her neck in her white off-the-shoulder top and black leather pants from Vaquera.

They each received a gift of red heels with traditional Korean embroidery on them, bowing in thanks to the fans, as is custom in the country.

For the evening premiere, they again switched colour palettes, Hathaway making a statement in a red Balenciaga dress featuring a batwing bomber on top and a form-fitting skirt with a slit.
