Stars storm the red carpet at the Olivier Awards, London's biggest night of theatre
The Olivier Awards returned to London's Royal Albert Hall overnight, celebrating the best of British theatre.
With the ceremony marking 50 years of the awards, the fashion felt dialled up to match the occasion.

Cate Blanchett wore a striking black Lanvin gown featuring long billowing sleeves, a high neck with shoulder cutouts, a knee-high slit, and a distinct criss-cross design at the midriff.
She was nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Seagull but lost to Rosamund Pike.
Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus marked their first public appearance in five months at the event; their previous red carpet outing was the 2025 CMA Awards in Nashville.

Making a statement in haute couture, Rachel Zegler donned a Tamara Ralph gown from the Spring/Summer 2026 collection.

Australian-born opera singer Danielle de Niese arrived at Royal Albert Hall in a stunning Vivienne Westwood gown while holding her trophy, as this year's recipient of the Olivier Award for Outstanding Contribution to Opera.

The performer grew up in Melbourne and became the youngest winner of Young Talent Time in 1988 as a nine-year-old.
The following year, her family moved to Los Angeles, where de Niese tried her hand at television, winning a local Emmy Award at the age of 16 for her guest host work on the show LA Kids.
