How Kate Middleton's dress has helped medical workers
No matter what Kate Middleton wears she influences trends and sends royal style watchers into a frenzy to replicate her outfit.
While the Duchess of Cambridge has been isolating with her adorable family at their Norfolk residence of Anmer Hall, we managed to catch a glimpse of the fab five — stylishly coordinated in various shades of blue, of course — as they joined the rest of the country in the weekly 'clap for our carers' tribute, on Thursday, honouring the tireless contributions made by the UK's essential workers.
However, despite the cuteness overload from Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis giving their biggest round of applause, it was Kate's dress that made the special moment all the more meaningful.
Wearing a blue floral, loose fitted, long sleeved midi dress by Ghost London, Kate proved (again!) that her style influence knows no bounds, because within moments interest in what she was wearing skyrocketed.
Taking to Instagram shortly after, the iconic fashion brand known for its feminine silhouettes and signature garment dyed pieces, announced it was donating all online sales from Kate's dress to National Health Service charities.
"We strive to continuously support the amazing work that the NHS staff and volunteers are doing, throughout this challenging battle against COVID-19, to keep us all safe. Thank you NHS, we truly appreciate you," the caption read.
The Anouk dress, as it's called, is now sold out (of course), however with a $248 price tag it's good to know that the NHS charities are set to receive a generous donation. All because Kate made a brief, but stylish, appearance in support of those helping in the fight against coronavirus.
