As the media landscape continues to evolve, Carina remains dedicated to supercharging nine.com.au’s affiliate offering by building strong relationships with stakeholders who are part of our trusted network.

Having spent 18 years working in women's lifestyle media, she got her start in magazines as an editorial coordinator during her third year of a journalism degree at the University of Newcastle. She quickly moved up the ranks to head up Girlfriend magazine's features and entertainment team before making the switch to digital, where she took on a senior editor role at POPSUGAR Australia, specialising in beauty and health content for the brand.

Carina moved to nine.com.au as the network's style editor in 2018, where she covered everything from international to local red carpet events, beauty how-tos and 'what to wear' shopping guides. The latter – her personal favourite – saw her propel into her current role as Shopping’s founding editor, where her desire to help consumers make smart shopping decisions across all categories knows no bounds.

Education

Carina completed a Bachelor of Communications, majoring in journalism, at Newcastle University.
