A closer look at Jasmine Yarbrough's custom wedding gown

The moment we've all be waiting for has arrived. Jasmine Yarbrough and Karl Stefanovic have tied the knot and we've managed to catch the first glimpse at the beautiful bride's gown.

Wearing a bespoke J. Andreatta gown with a short-hemmed, detachable skirt, the dress took six months to create, with Yarbrough telling VogueVogue how she worked closely with designer Jessica Andreatta of J. Andreatta in the lead up to her wedding in Cabo, Mexico.

"I went to see her and took her my inspiration and she drew it in two minutes," says Yarbrough. Her Mara & Mine store is coincidentally located on the same street as J. Andreatta boutique on William Street in Sydney's Paddington.

Andreatta who spent over three years working for Pallas Couture, before stepping out on her own in April this year to open her boutique, admits that she likes to push the boundaries.

"I'm inspired by different fabrications — usually if I see a fabric I could envision what it could be," says the designer, who met Yarbrough through mutual friend (and Tom Stefanovic's wife) Jenna Dinicola.

"She had an idea in mind of what she wanted and she showed me some references, and knowing the setting, we combined our ideas together and came up with the concept."

The short dress and long, flowing veil featured soft blush tulle, and Aztec motifs beaded over lace, that perfectly matched scenery of the couple's nuptials.

Not to be upstaged, Karl Stefanovic looked dapper in a Tom Ford suit, with a white cocktail jacket and black bow tie, paired with R.M. Williams boots.

The bridesmaids wore floor-skimming black Rachel Gilbert dresses and the groomsmen wore black suits with R.M. Williams boots to match their groom.
