Annalise Dalins dazzles on Brownlow red carpet in $1 million worth of diamonds

Annalise Dalins is renowned for her iconic Brownlow Medal looks, but this one has well and truly taken the cake.

The fiancée of Collingwood star Josh Daicos has turned heads on the red carpet at the AFL’s night of nights, wearing a jaw-dropping black gown and dripping in 40 carats of diamonds – with a staggering price tag.

Dalin’s custom Temelli diamond jewellery, including earrings and a ring, are worth almost $1 million.

The jewellery was paired with a designer Alin Le’Kal gown, featuring a sheer black skirt and corset bodice.

“I feel like I’ve really got to know myself over the last few years, and the dress really reflects that,” the model and content creator told 9News ahead of the event.

Designer Alin Le’Kal crafted the gown over “five days of hard work and a lot of overtime”, he said.

He further explained the inspiration behind the look on The Archive Podcast’s Instagram account.

“With Annalise, we had to do a bit of research with what she has worn in the past, and we went with the complete opposite,” he explained.

“I wanted to bring the sexy back and a bit darker [styling], I would say.”

Tonight marks Dalins’ fifth time at the Brownlow Medal, and this year is particularly exciting, with her brother-in-law Nick Daicos the favourite to take home the title.

Last year, she walked the red carpet in a pale blue semi-sheer drop waist gown with a corset bodice and tulle skirt, wearing her hair up in an up do.

She and Daicos are attending the 2026 Brownlow ahead of their wedding in November.

“You have moments where you really pinch yourself,” the model told nine.com.au of finding the love of her life in Daicos.

“To now get married is really meaningful.”

“I just keep thinking about what it means for us. It’s the start of a new chapter for us, and hopefully we’ll have our own family in the near future,” Daicos added.

The athlete added that the two years since he popped the question have flown by so fast, it feels like he was snatched up by a whirlwind.

Now, the pair just have to make it through the Melbourne Cup and a few other high-profile engagements before they finally exchange vows.

Dalins has spent the last few weeks in and out of dress fittings to make sure every outfit is perfect.

“I always like to keep it a surprise,” she teased.

“I love to have the opportunity to dress up and express myself. Fashion is an extension of myself and my personality, so hopefully everyone’s really receptive.”
