BOSS to take over as official outfitter of Australian Open after Ralph Lauren's six-year reign
The Australian Open will look a little different next year.
Fashion label BOSS has just been named as the official outfitter of the 2027 tennis tournament, taking the mantle from Ralph Lauren.
It's a major style shakeup for the Aussie event, coming after six consecutive years of the American luxury label dressing on- and off-court staff.

Tennis Australia said the new partnership with BOSS – one of Hugo Boss' two flagship brands – will bring its "unmistakable blend of sharp tailoring, modern sportswear and premium hospitality" to the Grand Slam meet.
CEO Craig Tiley described the brand as having "impeccable credentials in sport and style".
"Together we will enhance how our tournament looks, feels, and connects with fans from around the world," he said.
Today's news confirms speculation that swirled during the 2026 Australian Open that Ralph Lauren had lost its contract as the official lifestyle outfitter.

The deal, described as a "long-term partnership" with a six-year contract, was announced in 2020 and began at the 2021 tournament.
In January, sources told the Sydney Morning Herald the label would be replaced in 2027, though neither Tennis Australia nor Ralph Lauren responded to the claim at the time.
The iconic brand had previously partnered with the US Open and Wimbledon as official outfitter.

When its contract kicks off at the 2027 Australian Open, BOSS will design and supply apparel for up to 4000 staff at the tournament, including officials, umpires and ballkids.
You'll also see the German company's branding around Melbourne Park, along with "merchandise, off‑court collections, pop‑up retail, immersive fan activations, and elevated hospitality experiences".
"Tennis is part of BOSS's DNA," Hugo Boss CEO Daniel Grieder said.
"We are absolutely excited to partner with the Australian Open, which is one of the most dynamic and globally followed sporting events worldwide."
