The world's tallest dog Zeus has died aged 3
The world's tallest dog has sadly died this week after battling bone cancer.
Zeus the Great Dane, aged three, died on Tuesday from "amputation-related pneumonia" ,his owner Brittany Davis has revealed.
The Great Dane was crowned the world's tallest living male dog by Guinness World Records in March 2022 after measuring a mammoth 1.046 metres (3 ft 5.18 inches) in height.

Just last month, the Guinness World Records revealed on their site that the pup had been diagnosed with bone cancer and would need his right front leg amputated.
Mere weeks later, Zeus' owner has shared that the pup has passed away after developing postoperative pneumonia.
"We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved dog, Zeus, the Guinness World Records title holder for the tallest living male dog," Davis said per Guinness World Records.
"Zeus died with his head in his mum's lap getting ear scratches and kisses until the very end. He was three-and-a-half years old."
The world record-breaking pup from Bedford, Texas, USA, was approaching his fourth birthday in November.
The pup grained online traction after his owner set up a GoFundMepage to help raise funds for Zeus' medical expenses after the tragic news of his cancer diagnosis.
Davis has since updated the page to share the news of Zeus' passing and to thank the online community for their support during the difficult time.
"Our hearts are broken," she wrote. "He had the absolute best doctors who sat of the floor and cried with us. He fought hard but the pneumonia was just too much."

"He is not in pain anymore. He is resting peacefully," Davis added.
The Texan native then thanked those online for their donations that all went towards Zeus' treatments.
"It made our hearts a little lighter to know there are so many good people in the world willing to help people in need," she said.
On the Guinness World Record site, Davis shared that her family was "grateful" for the time they were able to spend with the three-year-old Great Dane.
"He brought us so much joy and happiness to so many people. He will be deeply missed by our entire family," Davis said.
Zeus was just two years old when he was announced as the world's tallest male dog.
The adorable grey and white pooch had been a gift to Brittany Davis from her brother when Zeus was just a tiny 8-week-old pup.
"We know that Zeus is in a better place now, running free and eating the good stuff off of the countertops in heaven. We will never forget him," Davis said.
